After taking over the IT support contract for over 35 machines, iTEXS were tasked with replacing the current physical server which included multiple virtual servers to host Microsoft Exchange and SQL.  Upon completion iTEXS then implemented an offsite backup solution and a secure VPN network so staff could work from home and from client’s offices.


With this in place iTEXS then migrated their current MS Office package over to MS Office 365, which also included the installation of new PCs and laptops as required.


As CIGA have expanded and have taken on new offices iTEXS have run a fibre optic cable between the new and old offices to assist with this expansion and general improvement of their infrastructure.

iTEXS were asked to assist with the rollout and swap out of over 110 computers which required communication with the users, technical support and flexibility.


This was achieved over a two month period and involved working with each of the users to make sure that their new machines were configured correctly for them with the minimum of disruption.


This was such a success that iTEXS have been asked to come back again for the next rollout.

As part of improving the way in which they can continue to support children and young people STARS

needed to upgrade their IT systems.


Having been successful in applying for a grant iTEXS were asked to provide a new setup which involved a small “Essentials” server, two laptops and migrating MS Office to MS Office 365.


These were setup on a local network with Anti-virus software and the file sharing/security that was required. Existing software was transferred and updated from the old setup to keep the full continuity of data for the services that STARS provide.

 As part of their ongoing IT support contract with iTEXS, Ampac required a secure and stable wireless

setup within their production warehouse and office suite.  


iTEXS were asked to supply and fit multiple Cisco Wireless Access Points across the site, this involved assessing the number and location of access points needed in a busy and complicated production environment.


This has improved productivity and introduced a great deal of flexibility in the control and monitoring at the Melbourn facility and Ampac have implemented a program to rollout similar setups across all their international sites.

 iTEXS were called in to assist and advise on several IT projects which Barnardiston Prep School wanted to implement over three sites.

After an initial audit iTEXS highlighted several areas of their security setup that needed attention, these included firewall configurations; group policies and an anti-virus migration to Eset Anti-Virus.


These were then implemented by iTEXS to allow for a more robust and secure setup for both the pupil and staff systems

iTEXS were then asked to upgrade one of Barnardiston Prep School’s computer lab with a new suite of computers, this included specifying, purchasing and installing the machines to the school’s specification.


iTEXS now provides ongoing contracted 2nd line support to the school.
